Website optimisation is the collective process in improving a website's rankings within the organic listings of search engines. proDmedia offers website optimisation services (also known as search engine optimisation, SEO or web optimisation) to both existing and new clients. With more and more consumers searching for products and services online, it has never been more important to ensure that your website is performing in the major search engines.

Organic Vs Pay Per Clicks (PPC)

It is also important to understand the difference between 'Organic' and 'Par Per Click (PPC)’ listings. Please see the diagram to the right, Paid / Sponsored listings have been highlighted in pink. Some of our clients use a combination of Organic and PPC listings (one Organic and one PPC listing has been circled in red).

Paid listings can be purchased through 'PPC' such as Google's Adwords service and can achieve results almost instantly. However once you stop paying or 'bidding' your website will disappear altogether. The purpose of organic optimisation is to achieve long-term high ranking listings in the 'free & natural' section of the search results. This ensures that your website appears 24 hours per day and can work out substantially cheaper than using PPC.

Website Marketing

ProDmedia recommend you assign a monthly or annual budget to SEM for PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns, directory listing and link building. This is optional but recommended.

Pay Per Click (PPC):
Google Ad Words, Overture / Sponsored Links on Yahoo MSN, these can be as broad or as targeted as you wish.

Link Building:
proDmedia will approach other sites and request/buy inbound links to the your site(s) creating inbound links to helps boost your Organic Listings. Make sure proDmedia knows about any PR you may receive and produce to help maximise the effect it has on driving traffic to your site.
